The U-Test Bowel Health Test Kit is an at-home stool test kit that screens for hidden blood, used according to the supplied instructions. A result is not a diagnosis of bowel cancer. Blood in a sample can have causes other than cancer, and a result that does not detect blood cannot rule out bowel disease or explain symptoms.
What a home stool blood test can and cannot tell you
Use the sample method and result window in the leaflet supplied with this kit. This retail test is separate from the NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Programme. It does not replace NHS screening, a GP assessment or investigation of symptoms.
