STI Gonorrhoea & Chlamydia Combo Test Kit | STI Screening Rapid Test Kit
STI Gonorrhoea & Chlamydia Combo Test Kit | STI Screening Rapid Test Kit
Detect both gonorrhoea and chlamydia simultaneously with a single swab sample — clinically validated results in under 10 minutes, with complete privacy and discreet delivery.
Why test for both at once?
Chlamydia and gonorrhoea are the two most common bacterial STIs in the UK — and crucially, they often present with no symptoms at all. Many people carry and pass on these infections without ever knowing. Because both infections share similar transmission routes and risk factors, they frequently occur together, making a combined rapid test kit the smart and efficient choice for anyone looking after their sexual health.
Both infections are fully treatable with antibiotics when caught early. Left untreated, they can lead to serious long-term complications including infertility, pelvic inflammatory disease, and increased risk of other infections.
About each infection
Chlamydia
The most common STI in the UK, caused by the bacterium Chlamydia trachomatis. It spreads through unprotected vaginal, anal, or oral sex. Most people have no symptoms, making regular testing essential. In women, untreated chlamydia can lead to pelvic inflammatory disease and fertility problems. In men, it can cause epididymitis and urethritis.
Gonorrhoea
The second most common bacterial STI in the UK, caused by Neisseria gonorrhoeae. It spreads through unprotected sexual contact and can infect the genitals, rectum, and throat. Symptoms — when they do appear — include unusual discharge and pain when urinating. Antibiotic resistance is a growing concern, making early detection more important than ever.
Did you know? Over 50% of people with gonorrhoea and around 70–80% of women with chlamydia experience no symptoms whatsoever. The only reliable way to know your status is to test.

How to use this test — step by step
Wash and dry your hands
Clean hands help prevent contamination of your sample.
Collect your swab sample
For women: use the vaginal swab as directed in the instructions. For men: use the urethral swab as directed. Full step-by-step instructions are included in the kit.
Add the sample to the extraction tube
Place the swab into the extraction tube containing the reagent solution and mix as instructed.
Apply to the test cassette
Add the specified number of drops from the extraction tube to the sample well on the test cassette.

What's in the box?
Understanding your result
Negative result: One line appears in the control region for each infection tested. This indicates neither chlamydia nor gonorrhoea antigens were detected. If you tested within 2 weeks of possible exposure, consider retesting — antigens may not yet be at detectable levels during this window period.
Positive result: Two lines appear for one or both infections — a control line and a test line. A positive result means the relevant antigen has been detected. Contact your GP or local sexual health clinic promptly for confirmation and antibiotic treatment.
Invalid result: If no control line appears, the test has not worked correctly. Please repeat with a new kit.
Important: Both chlamydia and gonorrhoea are fully curable with the correct antibiotic treatment. If you receive a positive result, do not have sex until you and any partners have been treated and cleared. Previous treatment does not provide immunity — reinfection is possible.
Frequently asked questions
When should I test after possible exposure?
For accurate results, wait at least 2 weeks after possible exposure before testing. This allows enough time for antigens to reach detectable levels. If you test earlier and receive a negative result, retest after 2 weeks to confirm.
Can I have both infections at the same time?
Yes — co-infection with chlamydia and gonorrhoea is common, which is exactly why a combo rapid test kit like this is so valuable. Testing for both simultaneously saves time and gives you a complete picture of your sexual health in one result.
Does this test detect gonorrhoea in the throat or rectum?
This rapid test kit is designed to detect genital infections. If you are concerned about throat or rectal infections — which is particularly relevant for men who have sex with men — please visit your local sexual health clinic for site-specific testing.
What if I have symptoms?
If you are currently experiencing symptoms such as unusual discharge, pain when urinating, or pelvic pain, we recommend visiting your GP or local sexual health clinic for a clinical assessment rather than relying solely on a rapid test kit.
Is this test suitable for under 16s?
This rapid test kit is intended for adults. Anyone under 16 who is concerned about an STI should speak with a healthcare professional or visit a sexual health clinic where confidential support is available.
