Gut Health
The Gut Health bundle listing includes a Bowel Health (FOB/FIT) test, an H. pylori test and a Vitamin D test. These screens look at separate markers; together they are not a complete digestive assessment and cannot diagnose the cause of symptoms.
What these gut health tests can and cannot tell you
A stool blood screen does not diagnose bowel cancer, and a result that does not detect blood cannot rule out bowel disease. An H. pylori screen checks for the marker stated in its leaflet; it does not show whether you have an ulcer. The Vitamin D test is separate from digestive testing. Continue NHS bowel screening when invited and contact your GP about bowel changes, persistent pain, unexplained weight loss or other concerns.
See the Bowel Health Test, H. pylori Test and Vitamin D Test. Read the NHS bowel screening guidance.
